Future Health Care Professionals Conference
The Future Health Care Professionals Conference helps expose rising 9th-12th graders in eastern North Carolina to a variety of health care careers. This program provides academic enrichment and health care exposure to learners from all backgrounds. It includes the tools and encouragement to guide and expose individuals to various careers in health care including medicine, dentistry, nursing, allied sciences, health administration and ancillary services. The program includes interactive simulations, campus tours and sessions with current medical, dental, nursing and allied health students, and administrative staff. Various ECU Health departments and community organizations will be on hand, and guidance counselors and college admissions representatives will offer a dedicated session for parents, to provide insights and the opportunity to ask questions.
