Application for Housing

Applications are processed in the order they are received, so early reservations are advised.  Submit your application as soon as your rotation dates are confirmed.  Other applications will be accepted, space permitting, on a first-come, first-served basis. Submit an application as soon as rotation dates are confirmed, even if you are not AHEC affiliated. It is advised that all students make reservations as early as possible.

In order to receive instructions on where to get your key, you will need to complete the required online forms and submit your $75.00 refundable deposit check. The forms can be found on our website, www.arealahec.org, under the For Students tab -> Student Housing -> Box labeled “Resources”. Please read the information found on this webpage as it is good information to have before moving into the apartments. After you have completed the forms and sent in your deposit, I will be in contact with you about where to get your keys. We will hold your deposit until after you have left the apartment and we have determined that you cleaned adequately and returned your key. Instructions on what cleaning is expected and how to return your key will be provided to you. If you have cleaned adequately and returned your key, we will shred your deposit check/refund your credit card payment. If you have cleaned but fail to return the key, we will refund you $50.00. If you fail to clean the apartment, we will keep the full $75.00 to help pay for the cleaning service.

To pay by check, the check should be made out to Area L AHEC and mailed as follows:
